Update: Caffe Primo, new and improved!
The flagship Artist’s Choice set was an instant hit, but I knew that the original extra short shape offering was limited. I went back to work, poring over the design and crafting it again from scratch so that I could deliver a set with enough varieties for all tastes!
Artist’s Choice, Caffe Primo - Natural Soft Square
Caffe Primo has gotten a brand new makeover! With two new shape options, the set has been reimagined with luxuriously rich shades and subtle, sparkling notes.
To make sure that everyone can get their fill, both the Free Size and custom sized sets are available for order now in all three Artist’s Choice shapes: Natural Soft Square, Extra Short Round and Extra Short Almond.
Aside from their visual differences, each shape has its own unique characteristics to appeal to many different needs. The three options were chosen for the predesigned sets because of these traits, so this is a great opportunity to break down what makes each one special. Let’s take a closer look:

This one should look familiar from the first announcements! The original option was a grand success, so it was only natural to bring it back for the redesign.
This shape is always my top pick for its demure length and subtle shape. True to its name, Natural Soft Square is the perfect incognito nail - perfectly recreating the look of a natural nail clipped low and shaped smooth.
This shape is ideal for short to medium nail beds, and it makes for a great “squoval” like option if your nail beds are quite short. The minimal free edge gives you comfortable functionality, but there’s still plenty of nail estate for any and all designs you can imagine!

sleek - aesthetic - practical
The first of the new additions, this delicately tapered shape is equal parts fashionable and functional.
As an Almond nail enthusiast, I have to say that this option is an absolute stunner! Extra Short Almond has just enough length to come to a gently rounded point, so it’s well suited for fans of shorter, shaped nails.
Due to the tapered free edge, this shape is also best suited for short to medium nail beds. Don’t let the length fool you! The wearable length, the part that will cover the nail plate, is only a bit longer than the squared Natural nails.
If you’re looking for a standout shape to show off this bold design, then the Extra Short Almond is your best bet.

versatile - flattering - accessible
The second new option is the perfect blend of elegant and everyday, making it a great choice if you’re undecided!
Extra Short Round is quite possibly the best shape option for nail newcomers, and I’m not saying that lightly! The balance between their wider sizing and minimal length makes them easy and comfortable for daily wear, while the elegantly rounded edge makes them a perfect candidate for dressing up with delicate designs.
This shape has more width from cuticle to free edge and is the longest of the options, so it’s best suited for both wider and longer nail beds.
